Summary

Philips-Magnavox 36" CRT with s-video. A great model with excellent picture quality. One of the very last models manufactured by North American Philips Corporation at their Knoxville plant before production was completely moved to Mexico and China. Tube is a 36" Toshiba tube made in the USA.

Notes

Unlike the Mexico and China-produced sets, this USA-made model does not support 50hz. Picture quality is quite good over s-video. The picture is a bit warm, and there is considerable chroma bleed.

This set has a digital service menu, but not much in the way of features. Instead, most adjustment is done using internal potentiometers. When you remove the back cover of the TV, the RGB adjustment POTs are located at the back edge of the main PCB. It unfortunately does not have full RGB adjustment, lacking the option to adjust red drive. You can still get the picture looking reasonably accurate, though.
